L'Auberge Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into L'Auberge Restaurant on W Dixie Highway, you immediately sense a warm embrace of familiarity and tradition. This is a place where the pace slows just enough to savor not only the flavors but the moments—the laughter shared across tables, the rich aroma of spices weaving through the air, and the genuine smiles that greet every guest. It’s a relaxed neighborhood spot that carries an unmistakable sense of home, wrapped in the vibrant soul of Haitian culture.
The atmosphere here invites you to linger, whether you’re seeking a comforting lunch or a hearty dinner to unwind after a day in North Miami. Behind the counter, there’s a steady rhythm: dishes prepared with care, a nod to time-honored recipes, and a commitment that your meal is ready when you arrive—no unnecessary waiting, just thoughtful timing. Quiet conversations blend with the occasional hum of the kitchen, creating a space where food is the language that connects everyone.
L'Auberge offers more than a meal—it presents a mosaic of experiences through its flavors. The familiar crackle of fried plantains, the rich, satisfying depth of Soup Joumou, and the tender, slow-cooked essences found in dishes like the Lambi stew or the savory, flaky paté kode each tell their own story. These aren’t just ingredients assembled; they’re expressions of memory, culture, and care crafted daily.
What truly sets this spot apart is its human touch. From the friendly staff who treat guests like old friends to the thoughtful way they support each visitor—whether it’s encouraging a hesitant diner to enjoy their meal or accommodating a last-minute order with ease—there’s a quiet kindness here that feels genuine. This is a place where people have returned for years, not just for the food but for the sense of belonging it fosters.
Whether new to Haitian cuisine or familiar with its rich traditions, dining at L'Auberge is an invitation to experience the layers of comfort and joy that come from food shared with heart, in a setting that feels less like a restaurant and more like a gathering with cherished neighbors.

Casual spot with homemade food. I have been eating here frequently for over 7 years. Even get their catering for my parties! Highly recommend them

One of the best haitian restaurants to eat in Miami

I recently discovered this restaurant through positive reviews from friends and decided to travel from Kendall to experience it firsthand. I must express my satisfaction as it exceeded expectations. Every dish, including the griot, oxtail stew, pate kode, and legume, was impeccably cooked. My personal favorites were the griot and pate kode with fish. Despite the distance, the delectable meals make the drive worthwhile. The affordability of the menu surprised me positively. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, serves excellent authentic Haitian cuisine, and the service staff is respectful. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

Meme was very nice, professional during our visit. We were impressed by the way she assisted an elderly man by encouraging him to eat every Tosha passed by him. Keep up the great job Meme.

North Miami Haitian Food Staple! They definitely with the times too because most Haitian restaurants even if you call in advanced they’ll still wait for you to get there to start making it, not L’Auberge! You call, show up 15-20min later and you’re foods ready! Delicious cuisine like Griot, Legume, Haitian Spaghetti & more! You’re greeted with warmth and welcome and feel right at home.
